UN Day

United Nations: an organization of independent states formed in 1945 to promote international peace and security.

See, I go to an international school in Hanoi. A United Nation school, to be more precise. Recently our school held our annual UN day, so everyone had to dress up in their national dress or as formal as they can get. It's all very patriotic and nice.

This is a picture of the 11th graders (juniors).

Another highlight of this day was that famous Brit artist, Tom Wood came and visited. The guy who painted Prince Charles yeah? And it's hung in the Brit Museum. His sketchbooks are AMAZING.

These are SEQUINS, glued one by one over a photocopied picture. Then, painted over.

Amazing.

Ciao,
Tammie

- Kofi Annan
