Christmas Is Almost Here

Winter: spend the winter; "We wintered on the Riviera"; "Shackleton's men overwintered on Elephant Island"

Everyone getting pumped for Christmas yet? Well here's a list of upcoming trends of wintery christmas delights to get some Christmas spirit up!

1. Peter Pan Collars
Yes, peter pan collars. You either love them or you hate them, I suppose. Well I LOVE them. They're absolutely adorable and really gives you that cozy, winter vibe when worn appropriately. I like them because they're not pointed like normal collars. I like 'em nice and curvy ;)

2. Colored Coats
Absolutely perfect depiction of what
I'm talking about.
Winter is usually associated with warm colors... but really, I don't think it's a rule worth sticking with. Why not add a touch of bold brights with your wintery outfits? I think the best way to achieve this is by wearing colored coats. They'll keep you nice and warm as well as give you that edge to stand out from everyone else (who, let's assume, are wearing browns, blacks and grays).

3. Anything Sheer
Normally people would be too cold to think about anything sheer during this time of the year. Well, I beg to differ. You can ALWAYS stay warm and have something sheer on! Well maybe I'm slightly biased and uninformed (of how cold it could get in the cooler regions of the world), but where I am, winter is usually cope-able. Long sheer maxi skirts over tights or nice loose harems/pants or a sheer top layered with a thick coat and scarves could do nicely. Or even a sheer maxi dress if you're daring enough, and it's not too cold that the only people admiring your outfits will be those in the hospital. Wow, I need me an inspiration board.

Absolutely gorgeous example.
These are only a few ideas which I have for wintery delights :) and I hope you guys get inspired with some of the stuff I wrote! I will add more if I have the time, but I should be studying for my test tomorrow. Instead, I'm doing this which I prefer so much more.

Wish me luck,
Tammie.
