TOMS 2011 - One Day Without Shoes

Barefoot: barefooted: without shoes on; "he chased her barefoot across the meadow"

Our school decided to participate in TOMS 2011 "One Day Without Shoes" to raise awareness about children in Africa. Watch the video below to find out more!
So basically we spent the whole day walking around to our classes without wearing any shoes. It was a very interesting experience, as you can probably imagine. Putting ourselves into their "shoes" (by taking them off) and see how it feels like being in their situation. It was an optional thing though, so some people still had their shoes on, but a lot of people did participate! It's also a great way to raise awareness!

  1. I wish I would have participated, aside from forgetting my school didn't participate so I probably couldn't have gotten away with it:) Looks like what you guys did was pretty cool though:)
