Lace On Wood

Icing On the Cake: The best part; the finishing touches.

The moment I saw these shoes I just had to get them. They were hidden behind all the other shoes in Stradivarius's "shoes on sale" rack and it was the perfect size for me! I've been fantasizing about a good pair of wooden platforms and the lace details on this one really was the icing on the cake for me. 


I didn't really feel like dressing up so I just threw on a sweater and my new lace skirt (from a thrift) to match with the lace detailing on the shoes.
