Tomboy is the New Feminine.

Tomboy: a girl who behaves in a boyish manner.

This was a blazer-and-shorts matching pair of clothes my sister bought in Zara while we were in Hong Kong. It gives out such a masculine vibe, yet I think it's an adorable piece that any girl could easily wear. What do you think?

Inspired,
Tammie.

I Need Some Dirt On My Boots.

Blister: get blistered; "Her feet blistered during the long hike".

I finally got a pair of combat boots (made in China cheap knock-offs - but it does the trick) and wore them out today for the first time. It was really rainy and I was on a motorbike, so it ended up being really splattered with dirt, which I thought added to the grungy look more. The whole outfit gave a really masculine vibe - probably from the shoes, the boyfriend blazer and the bag.

(Cotton On Blazer, Zara white basic tee, Forever 21 Acid Wash Skinnies, Thrift Combat Boots)

Sorry - really washed out here from the flash.

Them zippers on the side, and a bit of heels there.

DIRT SMUDGE! So grungy. HAHAHHA. Sarcasm there, if you didn't catch it.
I think the boots were a good buy and I'm definitely going to be wearing them a lot with different things to experiment. The leather really gave my feet one hell of a blister (on both) though. The stitchings on one side really dug in when I walked.

Look out for other outfits paired with these combats!

Blistered from the cheap shoes,
Tammie.

80's Inspiration

Transformation: a qualitative change

I love how all the things that were old are new again. I would imagine that there's a billion of posts concerning the same topic I'm about to write about now, but it really is something that's worth writing a post about :)

Bright bold colors, baggies, converse, high socks - I think it's really inspirational and great to be able to take things from the past and turn it into something that you can wear today. So today's look, I was really trying to channel some 80s look. Who wouldn't want to live in the 80s? Big hair, bold colors, and just everything is so bright and bold (and big for that matter).
Okay, not quite like this - but the same idea.

Love the harems there and the knit boob tube.

I had an English presentation today so I didn't want to distract everyone with neon green pants or something, but instead I wore a purple/blue tank and all black. I wore my ratty black converse with high socks (bunched up in the bottom to channel leg warmers), my black harems and a black blazer with my new Cotton on purple/black chiffon crop tank. Later on in the day I put on my grey knit beanie. Been listening to Britney the whole day as well.

Chills,
Tammie.

Yes, I Do Math In Airplanes.

Airplanes: an aircraft that has a fixed wing and is powered by propellers or jets; "the flight was delayed due to trouble with the airplane"

I wanted to try a look inspired on travelling since that is a huge part of my life - living overseas and all. So I quickly put this outfit together... That angle is really unflattering for me. Or maybe it's the stripes. Either way, it was a quick thing I put together :)

I am wearing:
1. Forever 21 stripy dress (with ribbon on back) and grey, 2cm heel oxfords
2. Black, leather Fedora messenger bag
3. Grey with silk patterned-lining, Tracy's blazer

The outfit was based on this playlist:
