Ribbons and Stripes

Ribbon: A ribbon or riband is a thin band of flexible material, typically cloth but also plastic or sometimes metal, used primarily for binding and tying.

I never feel like dressing up when going out for lunch on Sunday afternoons with the family - but I didn't want to be totally casual either. So I just wore a long tee and skinnies and added the wisteria wedges for that edge. I really like this tee because of that ribbon on the back - also the color really match my wedges.

(Forever 21 Ribbon Striped Long Tee, Zara Acid wash skinnies, Fedora Knit messenger bag, Topshop wisteria wedges)

Love the ribbon on the back.
I really rarely wear this shirt because I can never decide what to wear it with, so I'm glad it goes well with my wedges. Also, my mom suprised me today and told me we were going out to get my 17th birthday present (in a months time - Jan 14th) from Louis Vuitton. I won't show you what it is yet but here's a preview:
It's obviously not a bag.

I'm really excited to be using this, it's my first ever Louis Vuitton anything so of course, its one of my prized possesion. Thank you mom and dad :)

I Need Some Dirt On My Boots.

Blister: get blistered; "Her feet blistered during the long hike".

I finally got a pair of combat boots (made in China cheap knock-offs - but it does the trick) and wore them out today for the first time. It was really rainy and I was on a motorbike, so it ended up being really splattered with dirt, which I thought added to the grungy look more. The whole outfit gave a really masculine vibe - probably from the shoes, the boyfriend blazer and the bag.

(Cotton On Blazer, Zara white basic tee, Forever 21 Acid Wash Skinnies, Thrift Combat Boots)

Sorry - really washed out here from the flash.

Them zippers on the side, and a bit of heels there.

DIRT SMUDGE! So grungy. HAHAHHA. Sarcasm there, if you didn't catch it.
I think the boots were a good buy and I'm definitely going to be wearing them a lot with different things to experiment. The leather really gave my feet one hell of a blister (on both) though. The stitchings on one side really dug in when I walked.

Look out for other outfits paired with these combats!

Blistered from the cheap shoes,
Tammie.

Pocahontas

Pocahontas: a Powhatan woman (the daughter of Powhatan) who befriended the English at Jamestown and is said to have saved Captain John Smith's life (1595-1617).

Went downtown with a friend of mine today to get some clothes made, and I took Snappy with me. Snappy is my canon. Yes, I name my cameras. I have a couple now so I decided to name them to make them more easily distinguished! Instead of saying my canon eos etc, etc I'll just say Snappy.

We took some pictures downtown and I took the chance to make an outfit update :)

I'm wearing a zara print shirt, my zara ripped shorts with a brown belt as well as my zara glads. I'm also wearing my pocahontas earrings from accessorize and the messenger bag that I wrote about a few days ago.

Had a photoshoot while we were at it.

Isn't she the most adorable thing ever? I did an outfit picture of her as well. Love that bag against the blue and her flats are so adorable.

We saw this dog tied to a tree later on and it was the CUTEST THING EVER. So we took pictures with it.

Take care,
Tammie
