Macrame or Crochet?

Macrame: make knotted patterns; "macrame a plant holder"

I'm sure you're all familiar with the macrame and crochet trend, with all these designers having crochet or macrame pieces on their runways. I went over to Zara the other day and they had a couple crochet sweaters up - of course, I grabbed it. I wore it today and I would've thought I would get pretty warm with them on but it was actually quite light and kept me cool which was suprising.
