The Girl Every Other Girl Should Strive to Be.

Strive: endeavor: attempt by employing effort; "we endeavor to make our customers happy"

I've only just recently watched "Coco avant Chanel", a mind-blowing French movie about the one and only Coco Chanel. Audrey Tautou captured her so beautifully it was really a good watch! Coco Chanel is such an inspiring role model and the movie just emphasized that even more.

So while watching the movie, One of her outfits was absolutely adorable, it was really french chic, and I got really inspired:

As you can see, she's wearing a striped shirt with a belt around her waist, and she's wearing a navy blue maxi skirt. So I took that, and improvised with some of the things that I had:

(Forever 21 Knit beret, Majic French stripe tee, Zara ribbon belt, Gaudi blue skirt,
New look spotted tights, Forever 21 grey oxfords)

Don't mind the bobby pin in my pocket.
Love Coco Chanel. This movie provides an interesting biography and story behind her success - the infamous Coco Chanel.

Inspired,
Tammie.

Lumberjack Dancer.

Repeat Offender: A person who has previously offended against the law, often someone who may be deemed incorrigible.

Sorry for being a repeat offender, but these shoes (and the skirt) are so lovely I can't get enough of them. Wonder if wearing them to school would be appropriate... hahaha.
Anyways, so just had my exams today - still 4 more to go over the course of this week and next. I was just thinking of wearing my old plaid oversized tee because it's very comfortable and it's very lumberjack-esque.
Lumberjack.
It definitely tones down an outfit, don't you think? So I tried pairing it with my ballet outfit:

(TopShop bodycon dress, Zara plaid oversized tee, TopShop chiffon wisteria Heels, Zara tutu skirt)

And who knew you can also wear it as a dress? My zara tutu skirt gives it a little more shape and volume and the sleeves act as a ribbon :) I can experiment with this more for sure.

Sorry for the out of focus picture:

Anyways, super brief post. I still have to study.

Be original,
Tammie.
