Selfies: pictures taken of oneself while holding the camera at arms length.

#Selfies.

I couldn't be bothered to take photos with my 60D, so only took my outfit photos with it and the rest on my trusty iPhone! So if it's a little bit pixelated, sorry about that. I know. I'm particular about image quality on blogs too.

Anyways, can't go wrong with my oversized floral button up I bought from Zara ages ago. Complements my new Coach Legacy Mini Tanner in Coral super well, don't you guys think? It's actually a gift for my mom... But when I showed her it she told me I could use it as well... So I did... Ahaha! I still want to give it to her though for when I go back home! What color is your favorite? I love the mint one as well but they didn't have it in stock when I was at the store :( So I got the coral instead, which is still pretty!

Don't get me started on my Jeffreys. I've said this before, and I will say it again. These are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. Yes. Out of all however many shoes I own, these are the most comfortable.

Ciao,
Tammie.

I Want Your Uniform

Sustainable: able to be sustained; able to be sustained for an indefinite period without damaging the environment, or without depleting a resource; renewable

IMG_7833.jpg

As promised, here is the post about  Sheena Matheiken. So, during the GIN conference, she was one of the keynote speakers which was so fortunate and it got me SO excited! She spoke about consumerism and the sustainability of fashion, naturally. The whole thing has been so inspiring and has got me thinking about the way that I spend and "consume", and I think I want to try something like this in the very near future - to redeem myself.

Anyways, here are some pictures:

I took a picture with her but it came out super blurry :( :( which was my fault since I set the focus on manual... but, better this than nothing I guess :(

Outfit posts are coming very, very soon (lookout for some exciting color blocking),

Lovely Little Trinkets

Trinket: A small showy ornament or piece of jewelry; A mere trifle

My internet has been a pain in the bum for the last couple of weeks, so uploading pictures have taken an eternity. Each. I hate internet here... It's terrible.

Anyways enough about the internet, as you know I went shopping to accessorize recently to get that new bag for school. I also bought this little nautical themed charm bracelet. It's absolutely adorable. There was also one cupcake themed one but I chose this one over it. Get your own here.

This one's double sided! One side is a picture of the eiffel tower, and the other side is the back of a postcard :) How adorable.

Which charm do you like?

The Versatile Blogger Award

Versatile: competent in many areas and able to turn with ease from one thing to another; "a versatile writer".

Thank you Tigerlily from Two Thousand Things for giving me the Versatile Blogger award!

To accept the Versatile Blogger Award there are some rules to follow:
1. Thank and link back to who gave you the award.
2. Share seven things about yourself.
3. Pass it along to seven blogs you’ve recently discovered and enjoy.
4. Leave your recipients a note, telling them about the award.

Random Things About Myself - since I've shared some already on other award posts, I'll just not make this a certain number of facts but instead leaving it blank to give me some autonomy:
1. I like to eat. I like to eat a lot. I don't look it, but I do, I really do.
2. I go to a United Nations school in Hanoi, Vietnam.
3. I really don't have that many interesting facts about myself. I'm the most averagest average average girl ever.
4. I can play the piano! I used to take lessons for 4 years, but my skills are waning now due to laziness being busy with school so I have no time to practice :(
5. I never play around with eye shadow (I only recently started) because of my monolids. It's so tough to get the right look especially when you don't have double lids.

Passing it along to these lovely bloggers:

Tammie.

The Little Blue Dress

Fitting: adjustment: making or becoming suitable; adjusting to circumstances

I found this super adorable blue chiffon dress during break in Topshop. I thought it would be great for MUN which is coming up next week (so look out for some more outfit posts). I love it, the feel of the fabric, the fitting. Also there has been a trend of back zipper dresses - my mom bought a couple from Topshop with back zippers so look out for those posts too! I'm really inspired by this dress, there's a lot that I could do with it. Hopefully I'll come up with something creative for MUN.

(Forever 21 Nerd Glasses, Topshop chiffon dress, Fedora messenger bag, Louboutin heels)

I love this dress just because of the high neckline. It gives it that formal look, you know? I need more dresses like these.

Leather Dresses and Red Hair.

Mahogany: reddish brown: a shade of brown with a tinge of red.

Technically, the hair bit should be mahogany because yes, I dyed it mahogany. I also wore a two-tone leather dress for my "late birthday" dinner yesterday.

(Zara black cardigan, Zara two-tone leather dress, unbranded wedges)

Dressed in all black but tomorrow will be the first day of chinese new year, so please do expect some colors!

Love,
Tammie.

Here Comes the Bride.

Diamonds: n mineralogy, diamond (from the ancient Greek ἀδάμας – adámas "unbreakable") is an allotrope of carbon, where the carbon atoms are arranged in a variation of the face-centered cubic crystal structure called a diamond lattice.

Did I tell you guys I'm going to be a bridesmaid this summer for my cousin's wedding? So today was our dress fitting and it was SO MUCH FUN. Is it just me or are all wedding dresses absolutely amazingly gorgeous? My cousin had a couple selections to choose from (not sure if I was allowed to post her dresses but I mean I doubt anyone of my family will see these pictures so) and I had a couple too.

Here are the actual wedding dresses:

This one has Swarovski diamonds beaded on the ruffles.

This one has a train 3 meters long, complete with Swarovski diamantes all down the train. GORGEOUS.

I had three dresses to choose from. They're all gorgeous though.

Swarovski diamonds on the sleeve and the little detailing on the ribbon.

So excited for the wedding,
Tammie.

Tory Burch.

Flats: footwear (shoes or slippers) with no heel (or a very low heel)

I finally got around to wearing my new Tory Burch flats. It's not the usual black/gold ones, I couldn't find them! These are the snake skin ones, which I thought wasn't all that bad. I need to get the black/gold ones though.

(Zara shirt, Forever 21 silk fuschia high waist, Lilac longchamp, Snake skin Tory Burch flats)

Ciao,
Tammie.

News.

QUICK UPDATE:

Wowwa, made use of my time and did some rearranging with the layout of the blog. There are a couple of new features, "About Me" and "Shop the Closet" pages which you can see on the tab underneath my blog title so please check them out! Also, I got rid of some widgets that was on here.

Ciao,
Tammie.

MAC Me Up.

Harass: annoy continually or chronically; "He is known to harry his staff when he is overworked"; "This man harasses his female co-workers".

I continually do harass (pictures, make up, modelling) my sister especially when I need help with the blog - not sure if I should have admitted to that just now. I feel like such a bad sister now since I just used my 8 years old sister as a model for this post on MAC blush. To be fair, I did it really quickly and used make up remover as thoroughly as I could and told her to wash her face (which I supervised as well) afterwards. I sure hope it won't affect her soft baby skin. Also, she was enjoying herself being made over. So yes, please comment on this post to not let her efforts be in vain.

Well basically I just compared my 2 blushes, one being a rosier tint and the other being a more natural tone (darker brown):

Left: No blush, Right: Blush
Can you tell the difference? I think a darker tone really defines your cheekbones when applied properly. I'm not sure if I did, but the picture on the right is the result.
GINGERLY Sheertone Blush M.A.C

I'Left: Blush, Right: No Blush.
Not sure if it shows up really well in the picture, but this is the rosier blush. It's a shimmer brush, so I guess you could use it to highlight your cheekbones or "the apple of your cheeks". It looked great on my sister because of her fair skin... Although she won't be using any of this stuff anytime soon.

DOLLYMIX Sheertone Shimmer Blush
Not sure what the point of this post was,
Tammie.
