Treat: to pay for food, drink, entertainment, or gifts for somebody

I had a dinner with my girls at the Sheraton (my treat, of course) during the evening. It was a great way to spend my birthday so I'd like to just thank everyone who was there. It was a memorable 18th birthday thanks to you guys!

Tammie

Birthday: The annual anniversary of the day on which a person was born

I AM OFFICIALLY 18 AS OF TODAY. The morning of my 18th birthday, I spent at school working on university apps along with quite a few of my friends. Our counselor brought lasagna and cookies and other brain foods. We actually got a lot of work done - I was really suprised at the amount of kids that showed up actually. Didn't realize how hardworking the people in my year are... hahahahahaha.

By the way, if I look a bit different its probably because I'm not wearing any make up at all.

Ciao,
Tammie

Leather Dresses and Red Hair.

Mahogany: reddish brown: a shade of brown with a tinge of red.

Technically, the hair bit should be mahogany because yes, I dyed it mahogany. I also wore a two-tone leather dress for my "late birthday" dinner yesterday.

(Zara black cardigan, Zara two-tone leather dress, unbranded wedges)

Dressed in all black but tomorrow will be the first day of chinese new year, so please do expect some colors!

Love,
Tammie.

That Can't Be True.

QUICK UPDATE:

Just had my little 17th birthday dinner with my closest friends. I had a really good time and they all looked so good in their outfits. Here are some pictures:

Whose Birthday Is It Anyways?

Birthday Suit: raw: informal terms for nakedness; "in the raw"; "in the altogether"; "in his birthday suit".

MINE!

Woohoo. Ladies and gentlemen, I turned 17 today which means that I can get my official ID card made (in Indonesia) and can now drive (legally). So here's my not-so-naked birthday suit:

(Banana republic cardigan, Zara Leopard print dress, Stuart Weitzman leopard wedges)

YAY! YAY! YAY!
I had the best day in school. I had two lovely, delicious, yummy cakes (made by my two best friends) and got lovely gifts which I didn't expect (to be getting this much anyways). It was so NICE!

and here's a quick collage of my gifts from my best friends for anyone who cares :)

Yes those are a pair of fuzzy leather boots, spongebob squarepants silly bandz and a jewelry stand. LOVE ALL OF THEM. I also got a gorgeous new bracelet to replace the one I lost before (I used to wear that ALL THE TIME until I lost it) so that's definitely going to replace it.

Excited about tomorrow,
Tammie.

Ribbons and Stripes

Ribbon: A ribbon or riband is a thin band of flexible material, typically cloth but also plastic or sometimes metal, used primarily for binding and tying.

I never feel like dressing up when going out for lunch on Sunday afternoons with the family - but I didn't want to be totally casual either. So I just wore a long tee and skinnies and added the wisteria wedges for that edge. I really like this tee because of that ribbon on the back - also the color really match my wedges.

(Forever 21 Ribbon Striped Long Tee, Zara Acid wash skinnies, Fedora Knit messenger bag, Topshop wisteria wedges)

Love the ribbon on the back.
I really rarely wear this shirt because I can never decide what to wear it with, so I'm glad it goes well with my wedges. Also, my mom suprised me today and told me we were going out to get my 17th birthday present (in a months time - Jan 14th) from Louis Vuitton. I won't show you what it is yet but here's a preview:
It's obviously not a bag.

I'm really excited to be using this, it's my first ever Louis Vuitton anything so of course, its one of my prized possesion. Thank you mom and dad :)

Ciao,
Tammie.

Gathering

Birthday: an anniversary of the day on which a person was born (or the celebration of it)
HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY!
It was my best friend's birthday a few days ago, and we all got together last night to celebrate. Well we couldn't stay long because everyone is busy studying for the exams (so am I) but it was a fun night!

Quick photo blog of the events that took place:

My newly established "monster face". Birthday girl on the right :)

GROUP "MONSTER FACE". Oh my god, most exciting moment ever.

We ate at this local Indian retaurant called "Food Shop 45". Their food is really good.
Samosas are the best creation man ever made.

I stand corrected, Mango Lassis are.

Ehheh.
Then we went to a lounge to just chillax a while.

Then sleepover!

I really love frames arranged in this way on walls and Tia snoozin'. This is the next morning hahaha
We actually stayed up until 4 o' clock in the morning working on an essay due on Monday. For those of you who don't know, we are IB students and we have to take a class called Theory of Knowledge. The class itself is fine, but writing the essays are like trying to explain why we are what we are. It's condensed high-school philosophy *cringe*.

To conclude this post, I might not be posting a lot over the course of this week as I will be busy with our exams and other school work but I'll try to update as often as I can!

Studying intensely for mid-terms,
Tammie.
