Leather Dresses and Red Hair.

Mahogany: reddish brown: a shade of brown with a tinge of red.


Technically, the hair bit should be mahogany because yes, I dyed it mahogany. I also wore a two-tone leather dress for my "late birthday" dinner yesterday.

Dressed in all black but tomorrow will be the first day of chinese new year, so please do expect some colors!

Here Comes the Bride.

Diamonds: n mineralogy, diamond (from the ancient Greek ἀδάμας – adámas "unbreakable") is an allotrope of carbon, where the carbon atoms are arranged in a variation of the face-centered cubic crystal structure called a diamond lattice.

Did I tell you guys I'm going to be a bridesmaid this summer for my cousin's wedding? So today was our dress fitting and it was SO MUCH FUN. Is it just me or are all wedding dresses absolutely amazingly gorgeous? My cousin had a couple selections to choose from (not sure if I was allowed to post her dresses but I mean I doubt anyone of my family will see these pictures so) and I had a couple too. 


Here are the actual wedding dresses:

This one has Swarovski diamonds beaded on the ruffles.

This one has a train 3 meters long, complete with Swarovski diamantes all down the train. GORGEOUS.

I had three dresses to choose from. They're all gorgeous though.

Street Style Eye-Candy: Hong Kong Disneyland

Street Style: any offbeat or avant-garde fashion inspired by contemporary culture of urban street people.

Thanks to my 28-300mm Tamron lens, I was able to do some falkering (fashion stalking) in Hong Kong unnoticeably, although I did have to take them quickly so pardon the pictures with terrible, terrible lighting/exposure/focus/etc. More precisely Disneyland. Being in Disneyland just makes it that much more interesting, in my opinion, as people may dress differently than they would walking around the Hong Kong streets. Just a heads up: A lot of these pictures are not front views, since you know, I had to take the pictures unnoticed.

The Doc Martens. I came across hundreds of combats and Doc Martens while I was there. It was crazy!

 

Most adorable boots.



Being in the midst of trainers just makes those pink high tops stand out that much more.

Them Kids.


Just because you're a kid doesn't mean you have to dress as disastrously as I did when I was younger. Check out these kids which may not be the most fashionable kids, but something about them did leave an impression.

 The picture above is actually of the daughters of a famous Indonesian singer. He has 4 daughters, and they were all dressed very rocker chic (he himself was wearing combat boots, ripped jeans and a vest over long-sleeved shirt). The youngest had a black tutu on with combat boots and she was ADORABLE, but unfortunately I didn't have time to take a good shot of her. Her sisters are also looking very stylish with their boots and tights and high waists, plaids and what not. Very zara-esque don't you think?


This girl had the most gorgeous poncho. Love the winter knit patterns.



Nothihng says home more than a patchwork vest. Adorable.

She's my favorite out of all of them. Her purple coat is absolutely adorable. It matches that bag of hers and the lacy tights really come together with that headwear. Great look.

Paddington the Fashion Bear

Paddington Bear: Paddington Bear is a series of British animated shorts based on the Paddington Bear book series by Michael Bond produced by FilmFair. This was the first television series based on the popular children's book Paddington Bear.

PADDINGTON THE BEAR! WOOP.

I remember when I was young and on a holiday with my mom, to Hong Kong... She left me in the hotel all by myself because she went out to go get us some food and I stayed behind because it was raining. The only children show that was on was paddington the bear.
This coat, which I bought today, reminded me so much of him and that memory! So yes, an outfit tribute to Paddington the Bear who kept me company in Hong Kong that gloomy, rainy, lonely night (melodramatic huh?).
