Paddington the Fashion Bear

Paddington Bear: Paddington Bear is a series of British animated shorts based on the Paddington Bear book series by Michael Bond produced by FilmFair. This was the first television series based on the popular children's book Paddington Bear.

Guess who I'm channeling with this look?

I am wearing:
1. Red coat found in shop downtown
2. Fedora from Bangkok
3. Blue skinnies from Gaudi
4. Black ankle boots from Zara
5. Messenger bag from Fedora

PADDINGTON THE BEAR! WOOP.

I remember when I was young and on a holiday with my mom, to Hong Kong... She left me in the hotel all by myself because she went out to go get us some food and I stayed behind because it was raining. The only children show that was on was paddington the bear.
This coat, which I bought today, reminded me so much of him and that memory! So yes, an outfit tribute to Paddington the Bear who kept me company in Hong Kong that gloomy, rainy, lonely night (melodramatic huh?).

I Like To Take Pictures of Flowers Because It Makes Me Feel Artsy.

Artsy: Informal Arty.

Lol at the definition.
Anyways, yes, taking pictures of flowers makes me feel artsy. It's so cliche too you know? Flowers = art. Therefore, photographs of flowers makes me feel artsy. Doesn't necessarily make me an artist. It just makes me feel artsy. All the photos in this post are RAW by the way, they are untouched and un-edited.

Doesn't flowers make everyone feel artsy?

Photography: the act of taking and printing photographs

Here are some photographs that I have been taking around school. Do visit my deviant art (link on the side) sometime and take a look at my pictures. I would really appreciate it :)

I really love playing with natural lighting. See how the light outlines her nose on the top picture there? Love it. In the picture below, her profile is outlined using obviously contrast - dark and light.

I love taking pictures of profiles, and close-ups. Candids for sure. The picture above is a candid, but the one below obviously is not. I like both of them.

CANON EOS 60D

Camera: equipment for taking photographs (usually consisting of a lightproof box with a lens at one end and light-sensitive film at the other)

That's exactly it though, Canon EOS 60D is no ordinary camera.

I WANT IT SO, SO BAD. I'll never ask for another camera ever again.
My dad offered to get it for me a few days ago and I got SO excited! I can't wait to actually get it (:

Vietnam 1000-Day Celebration.

Celebrate: to mark a special occasion or day by ceremonies or festivities.

I know this was a while ago, but I want to put this on anyways. Vietnam's 1000 day celebration. Fortunately, I was in Hanoi for the occasion... Unfortunately, I didn't go downtown to really see the celebration, 'cause downtown is always where the party's at. It would have been nice though, and take pictures of the festivities that's going on.

Our school had a "spirit week" and one of its days was to wear red for this occasion. Here are some pictures of people in red on that day.

Below here is one of my favorite shots.
So that's the update for today. I need to carry around my camera more.

Ciao,
Tammie.

FAIL.

Neglect: What I have been doing to this blog.

Kayz,
Hahah sorry guys I've been neglecting this blog which is not that surprising really. I somewhat expected myself to, along with my other like 50234530945 blogs floating around in the world wide web.

Anywho, I decided to make a few changes. No more of those big word banner things in EVERY post because you know what? It just takes SO much time, and it really puts me off updating this blog. So that's in the bin. Guess that's all? Haha, so much for a "few" changes. Well I'm sure I had a few in mind but forgot it while writing about that first one. Ha.

Okay well this was just a quick update, and I swear I'll start updating this blog again.

Ciao,
Tammie.

P.S. to make it up to you, I'll add in this quote which has nothing to do with anything at all.
