Knitwear, Menwear

Have been noticing a couple trends in menwear for fall/winter 11/12 from different designers and runway shows. One of my favorite designers, Junya Watanabe (I'd written about him sometime last year), came up with the most amazing fall line for menswear incorporating print wool blazers which I thought was quite innovative actually - something casual incorporated into something formal. I'd love to get myself one of those (for women of course as I'm sure this trend will catch on).

Another designer, Richard Dawson, and his label Forgotten Future came up with a similar concept for their collection incorporating print wools in some of their pieces.

Interested to see where this goes,
Tammie.

I Watanabe, Junya Watanabe.

Amazing: Junya Watanabe.

SEE HOW I CLEVERLY PUNNED WATANABE WITH WANNA BE THERE? Oh my god, I feel so clever. Hahaha, anyways, about Junya Watanabe.

Who is Junya Watanabe? Look at his collection and decide for yourself.

Those straps be so trippy! What's going on there at the neckline? Most pleasing state of confusion I've ever been in my life.

Let this outfit be an exercise for your eyes. I want to be an exercise for your eyes.
Therefore, I want this outfit to be on me. Deductive reasoning, chyeah.

I can really see the Japanese street style influence on this one. Do you guys agree?

You have no idea how chic this is for me. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. La la la love it. I can make a song about this outfit.

Not kidding at all, Korean boys at my school wear pants that look just like that. So much respect for them right now.
I have so much respect for people who make things that are so unusual look so good! This is so much my thing, you have no idea. If people in my school wore things like this, I would be... I don't even know.
I would wear these outfits but since I probably won't be able to afford even a pair of stripy socks from his collection, I'll just go buy cheap knock-offs and put him and these outfits on my altar of inspirations.

Please. Do yourselves a favor and google him.

Fueled with inspiration energy,
Tammie.
