Purple Mustard.

Mustard: any of several cruciferous plants of the genus Brassica.

I was thinking more of like, Mustard: ketchup that is yellow; yellow ketchup.

I've always wanted to get myself a mustard yellow coat, but then I found the next best thing. Yellow mustard suede wedges and they cost about US$20. I absolutely love them, and I think I can play around with colored socks and different colored pieces in my outfit with these wedges!
(Zara Military cropped coat, Zara peter pan colalred shirt, Mango pencil skirt, Mustard yellow suede wedges)

Shoes Eye-Candy.

Eye-candy: visual images that are pleasing to see but are intellectually undemanding; "he wanted to put some eye candy on their web site".

Can I just say Jeffrey Campbell shoes gives me tingles. In a good way.

This one is really finsk-esque.

Wants to go shopping now,
Tammie.

Studded Fringe

Studded: dotted or adorned with or as with studs or nailheads; usually used in combination; "star-studded heavens"; "diamond-studded belt".

This weekend is a long weekend for me :) So Wenny and I went out downtown to go shopping and to just chill. This is the outfit that I was wearing today:

I am wearing:
1. Mom's knit dress/shirt
2. Zara print jeans
3. Aldo black wedges
4. Classic Louis Vuitton bag

Was just going for simple and casual, and threw in a pinch of fall color there with the shirt. Sporting my usual asian-bun look.

I also went by Aldo again and bought the other pair of heels that I was talking about last weekend. They were still there, thank god, and it was on sale so. Feast your eyes on these 5-inch fringey, studded goodness:

They look like these super sexy ankle boots 'cause they go a little higher up my ankle, but they're not. Yum.

Spoil yourselves sometimes,
Tammie.

Well Suited.

Suit: a set of garments (usually including a jacket and trousers or skirt) for outerwear all of the same fabric and color; "they buried him in his best suit".

That's such a boring definition for a suit! Same fabric and color?? That's definitely the kind of things I try to avoid, especially when wearing suits. I like to dress formal, but just not so monotonous and so predictable you know? Add a little personality here and there won't hurt.

Went on a shopping trip with my mother today downtown ('cause I needed some new clothes for the THIMUN conferences coming up in Singapore anyways). My objective was to get me a pair of new shoes and some clothes for the conferences.

I definitely had a successful day!
Check out the new stuff that I bought:

These adorable Aldo black wedges. Love them so, so much. You have no idea how comfortable they are. Also check out that detail - fur on the side. I bought this for around 70 US$. There was this other creme pair which I adore and it was on sale, but I think I'll go back next weekend to get it.

Mango cream-brown sunnies with opaque prints on the side. These were 50 US$ around. I can wear them while shopping in Singapore :)

And last but not least:

A high waist and your average cream top from Mango.

Put them all together and you get...

All works together quite well yeah?

I threw in a Longchamp bag in there because it works. Everyone needs a Longchamp in their life.

Get some Longchamps!,

Shoes? Yes, please.

Inspiration: arousal of the mind to special unusual activity or creativity.

Today we had a fashion designer come in for our Art class and naturally, the first thing I noticed were her shoes. Her name is Claire Driscoll and right now she's working in Hanoi.

Check them out. They look sort of handmade suede or something yeah? So adorable.

And loving the hair! I think it's bleach blonde? It's great.
Mucho inspirational.

Also, apparently she's worked for some really famous people like coldplay's costume for one of the awards and Little Britain which I found well impressive. If you click on the picture above you'll see some of the pictures of the costumes she made for well-known people. There's also a picture of Alex McGrath up there.

Well she talked in our class about what to expect if we would like to take on fashion as a career and in university. So that was really interesting! Enjoyed the visit very much. She also showed us a couple of blogs which I already knew about. Two of the most famous street fashion blogs, satorialist (http://www.satorialist.blogspot.com/) and facehunter (http://www.facehunter.blogspot.com/).

Ciao,
Tammie.
