MUN Day #1

MUN: an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda.

Today was the first day of MUN UNIS (held in my school). It was super tiring but it's always a fun experience. It lasted for as long as any normal school day (8 AM - 3 PM) but then we had a dinner from 6 to 8, and I was so sleepy by then. I still need to write a speech for tomorrow so I'm not going to sleep anytime soon either.

(Zara coat, Mango shirt, Mango high waist skirt, Topshop Wisteria wedges)

For the dinner, I changed into a more casual outfit since it wasn't formal.

(Cotton on blazer, Topshop top, Zara shorts, Mom's scarf)
Such an awkward expression. So sorry, I'm really tired :(

Can you believe I lost my bracelet again today?! I have no idea where it is :( I hope I'll find it in school tomorrow.

Ciao,
Tammie.

That Awkward Weather.

Turban: Man’s headdress made by winding a length of cloth round the head; Woman’s close-fitting hat with little or no brim.

I've been looking forward to wear my knit turban the past few months, and I did today just because winter is coming to an end. The days have gotten warmer (a warm 22 degrees a couple days ago), but then a cold front went by, I guess, and the temperature dropped to a cool 11 degrees yesterday. So I took this chance to wear my last fall/winter pieces before it gets too hot.

(Banana Republic cardigan, Forever 21 tank, Zara baggy jeans, Zara heels)

I've been loving this turban inspired look since people first started wearing them and it's a shame I only found knit turbans to wear as earwarmers. Maybe I can improvise and find a scarf to wear as a turban as well? We'll see.

Ciao,
Tammie.

Studded Fringe

Studded: dotted or adorned with or as with studs or nailheads; usually used in combination; "star-studded heavens"; "diamond-studded belt".

This weekend is a long weekend for me :) So Wenny and I went out downtown to go shopping and to just chill. This is the outfit that I was wearing today:

I am wearing:
1. Mom's knit dress/shirt
2. Zara print jeans
3. Aldo black wedges
4. Classic Louis Vuitton bag

Was just going for simple and casual, and threw in a pinch of fall color there with the shirt. Sporting my usual asian-bun look.

I also went by Aldo again and bought the other pair of heels that I was talking about last weekend. They were still there, thank god, and it was on sale so. Feast your eyes on these 5-inch fringey, studded goodness:

They look like these super sexy ankle boots 'cause they go a little higher up my ankle, but they're not. Yum.

Spoil yourselves sometimes,
Tammie.

MUST. UPDATE. FALL/WINTER. WARDROBE.

Wardrobe: A wardrobe usually referes to a complete set of clothing consisting of multiple items. Generally referring to the males clothing needs. A wardrobe will usually consist of suits, slacks, shirts and shoes both casual and formal.
I CANNOT wait to go to Singapore. Well, first and foremost, of course because of the THIMUN conferences. Got to make time to make the world a better place. Ha! The approved resolutions do get sent to New York to be reviewed.

Aside from that though, I NEED SOME NEW CLOTHES. Okay, I may not need new clothes, I have plenty already... I want? I need me some assymetrical dresses, checked/plaid dresses, brown belts, boots, scarves, COATS, clogs.. I wonder if I'll be able to get some good bargains...

Here are some inspirations for my fall wardrobe:

Some Jacquard dresses... These are absoultely adorable

and I need me some ankle boots.

Those heels are gorgeous.

How can I buy all these on a tight budget?? I can't wait to graduate and get a good (well-paid) job.

Saving up,
Tammie.
